Dr. Thomas D’Souza is head of the Office of the Commission for the Enhancement of University Teaching (Geschäftsstelle der Studienkommission für Hochschuldidaktik, GHD), a state-wide institution in charge of developing and organizing further education in the field of higher education didactics for professors and lecturers at universities of applied sciences in the federal state Baden-Wuerttemberg. In addition to organisational and management responsibilities, Thomas is also a trainer, coach and consultant in the field of higher education didactics. His workshops cover general aspects of didactics as well as more specific topics like teamwork and teambuilding, visualisation, gamification, digital teaching.
